Pacelle van Goethem is the founder and face of True Persuasion. She is known as the Dutch persuasionexpert. Pacelle is author, speaker and advisor in the field of persuasion, charisma, influence and voice-psychology. Next to lectures and seminars she gives coaching and masterclasses. Her method boosts persuasive power, both personal and organisational.
Not just for Gandhi and the Obama’s: Leadership, career, image and visibility, as well as change and new ideas, require maximal charisma.
As a Speech, Language, and Voice-pathologist (and Voicepsychologist) she further specialised in Psychology and Communication Sciences. She collaborated in research done at the Radboud University of Nijmegen the University Medical Center in Groningen, and discovered the spectacular link between persuasion and relaxation.
Her book IJs verkopen aan Eskimo’s, The Psychology of Persuasion is an everseller. It is considered to be the Dutch standard on persuasion, by now in 24st edition. Pacelle is a huge fan of Steely Dan. She plays and sings in a band with friends herself, The Sticks.

Merel is our Business Coordinator and Creative designer since 2016. Next to Pacelle’s Personal Assistant, she is the Key contact to all our relations, clients and partners. She facilitates the growth of True Persuasion on an operational and strategic level. She was closely involved in the development of our corporate identity, our new website and the creation of the book True Persuasion – The Logic of Charisma. Together with Wendelina, she coordinates and manages the website and social media.
She graduated at the International School for Hotel Management in The Hague. Despite expectations of choosing a career in hospitality, she started working in IT instead, only to discover that the world of information, technology and communication really appealed to her. She worked as Business Change Manager, Sales Manager and Business Manager at Yellowstone Software Services. She also worked in recruitment at SLTN Interaccess as External Resource Manager. During her time at Funda she was Project Manager and Channel Manager.

Wendelina Fieret is Marketeer at True Persuasion since 2014. She supports Pacelle with her research and writing. She also coördinated the creation and publishing of the book True Persuasion – The Logic of Charisma. She helped founding our publishing agency True Persuasion Publishing and is closely involved in the positioning of True Persuasion in the Netherlands and internationally, in the development of campaigns and maintaining contact with relations and press.
After graduating International Business & Management Studies (2012) she started as a Research assistant to Dutch author Ben Tiggelaar. As this turned out to be such a good fit, she started assisting other Management book authors. She gladly works with Pacelle since 2014.

Melle Kleisma has been working with us since the beginning. He installs and maintains all IT systems in our back-office. Next to being an IT specialist, he is a Business Psychologist. Melle is highly involved in our business, both in what we do and in its impact on our clients. He is continuously investigating ways to improve our systems to benefit our clients, partners and relations.
Melle has over thirty years of experience as a Business Trainer, Coach, Division-manager and Director at numerous of profit and non-profit organisations, such as Vergouwen Overduin, Van Dalfsen & Schouten (VDS Training Consultants) and Mulder Performance Consultants. He combines his knowledge of IT and his computer and technical skills with all his thorough knowledge of our business.
